FREQUENTLY ASKED

QUESTIONS

HOW DID THIS ALL GET STARTED?

A number of folks have been talking about getting all the Indigenous pop-culture groups all together in one place to celebrate and validate the work that has been done.  Native Realities Publishing finally had the time and resources to make this event happen and the rest is (or rather will be) history.

WILL THERE BE COSPLAY OPPORTUNITIES?

Yup.  So get your costumes ready! However, we hope that the costumes will be appropriate for the setting and spirit of the Expo (i.e. please, no Tontos or other Indigenous stereotypes).

IS THIS A GOOD EVENT FOR KIDS?

Yup. We will have play areas and numerous activities for the kiddos throughout the Con.

REFUNDS?

There are no refunds on tickets but they are transferable. There are no refunds for physical items (such as t-shirts, lanyards, books, etc).

TRANSFERS?

All tickets are transferable and, as such, care should be taken with tickets. Once the tickets are redeemed for a badge, they will no longer be valid. Tickets are only valid for the Expo in the year they are purchased.

CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS?

The Indigenous Comic Con and Native Realities LLC do not necessarily have control over every aspect of guests, programming, and/or events as part of the Con. As such, we reserve the right to change or cancel guests, programming and/or events without notice to attendees. Attendees who wish a refund may request one on a case-by-case basis.

WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN PASSES, TICKETS, AND BADGES?

The Pass is the type of Ticket. The Ticket is the physical object you will bring with you (app or printed) in order to get your Badge. The Badge is your entry into the Venues/Zones.

WHAT DOES MY BADGE INCLUDE?

Depends on your type of badge purchased.  A Zone badge will allow you into all events and workshops in that zone.  A Full Fest Badge allows you to all the Zones (except the Chef Nights) for the entire festival.

HOW DO I GET MY BADGE?

You can pick up your Badge starting at 10am, Tuesday, November 5th. The Expo will kick-off that evening with Food events and begins at 10am, November 6th at the Innovation HQ.

ARE THERE GROUP DISCOUNTS?

We do offer group discounts! Please contact us at: info@indigenouscomiccon.com for prices and arrangements. We do not offer any other discounts at this time. However, we have many volunteer opportunities and you can use the email above to inquire about those options.
